Lenovo Ideapad 5, the laptop that gives benefits with an affordable price

I purchased this 14-inch Lenovo IdeaPad 5 about three weeks ago, and it took me a little longer to publish my thoughts because I wanted to see if I could live with a color-deficient screen. So, how's it going? In a nutshell, it performs better than I expected, lasts a reasonable amount of time on a charge, and types well. But it'll be returned tomorrow because I've finally decided that I can't deal with that screen. You can read about my entire experience with this computer below, including the positives and negatives that will help you decide whether this is the right computer for you. And if Lenovo ever offers a higher-quality screen, this will undoubtedly rise to the top of my shortlist in its class.

Almost all Lenovo IdeaPad models, including our IdeaPad 5 Pro 14, use similar aluminum alloy chassis materials. As a result, the system looks and feels like most other IdeaPad 5, IdeaPad 7, and even many Yoga models. The chassis feels as rigid and strong as it did on last year's IdeaPad Slim 7, with little flex around the base or lid. When it comes to the lid, first impressions are stronger than on the Asus VivoBook 14, Dell Inspiron 3000 series, or the new Pavilion Aero 13.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro is an excellent laptop for the money. It's powerful, thanks to a great combination of a 5th generation Ryzen processor and a GTX 1650 GPU. The battery life is also excellent for such a powerful machine. Just keep in mind that it's a little heavy and the ports are a little underwhelming, but in the grand scheme of things, these are minor issues for such a fantastic machine.
